How are the cross braces and the diagnal squaring brace secured to the end frames?
-
ProductExpert40· 11 years ago
This tower scaffolding system cross braces and diagonal squaring brace are all secured to the end frames by inserting the end holes in the braces through the brace pins in the frames. Welded on gravity locks then hold and lock them in place.

1) can leveling legs be attached? 2) can additional units be added to create a higher scaffold?
-
Metaltech Specialist· 13 years ago
Sorry for the delayed answer.
Leveling jacks can be used on this unit instead of casters and can be purchased seperately. Please refer to Item# 405937 you will need 4 units.
You can add one more level if not attached to a wall. Any higher, you will need to use outriggers (Item# 405952) or attach to a wall.

Can you stack multiple towers on top of each other? If so, how many?
-
514X· 11 years ago
I have 2 sections w/the guard rails above that. You can add on more sections but if you go past 3 you should anchor it to something. I also used a 20 foot ladder to set on the top and went on up to paint some more that was higher then the 2 sections. Not sure how high to go up but that is up to you.

You are able to add as many sections to this scaffolding as you need. Once they are stacked, you will need the cross bars and the outriggers. If you reach 15 feet or higher you will also need the wall anchoring that should be placed every 15 feet. The Northern item # for the additional sections is 405943.

How tall is it??????????
Kind of crucial info - how high is the top platform? Why does the photo look like 3 sections high?
-
2UNREAL· 11 years ago
THE PLATFORM IS ABOUT 10.5 FEET HIGH. THE PHOTO LOOKS LIKE IT'S 3 SECTIONS HIGH BECAUSE WHAT YOU SEE ON THE TOP LEVEL IS THE HANDRAILS.

What is the proper way to access the working platform? Do I need to buy a separate piece with a chain or a swinging gate?
1 answer-
ProductExpert11· 2 years ago
To access the work platform, you will climb up the outside of the scaffolding. You will need to remove the two horizontal bars on the side of the guard rail. Once you have started working, you then will place the bars back in to place for safety.
