METALpro’s foot-switch design controls a hydraulic power system. This machine is ready to accept any die set specific to your pipe or tube size needs.   2. How do i bend a 45 degree ?

    1. This bender will bend up to 90 degrees. You would use the proper sized die for your material to be bent and stop bending once it reaches 45 degrees.

  3. what grade solid rod?

    its says solid rod but nothing else, does it bend grade #8 steel is it capabile of bending ubolts for leaf springs?

    1. This unit can bend 1 ¼” stainless steel rod, grade 18.8 (304). This unit will not be able to bend a #8 grade steel rod.

  4. Can this bend 180°? Also just to confirm this will bend hydraulic tubing as long as wall thickness is .120"?

    1. This bender is only capable of bending up to 90 degrees. The minimum thickness listed of .120 is for tubing diameters up to 1-1/2". Tubing that is 1-5/8" OD requires a wall thickness of .165". Tubing diameters of 1-3/4", 1-7/8", and 2" require a minimum wall thickness of .187". Click the link below to view a bender that's capable of 180 degree bends.

    1. The max diameter this bender can handle is 2" schedule 40. It's electric and operates off of a 115 volt, 20 amp circuit.

  7. how to bend 1-7/8 tubing

    i'm trying to bend 1-7/8 x .120 wall steel tube and it is not beding its kinking it real bad. Is there something i need to know that would help me get a smooth radius. I'm doing this with a 2" die
