Product Summary

This 40-gal. capacity Master MFG Over-the-Tailgate Spot and Broadcast Sprayer helps you cover more ground with a heavy-duty, 3-nozzle boom that can spray up to 10ft., while being foldable to prevent damage from trees and other obstacles when spraying. The boom mount can be easily adjusted up or down and even tilted for easy access to the tailgate. Adjustable rubber stoppers on the sprayer frame provide a nice, snug fit to minimize sprayer movement in the UTV bed. Also includes an adjustable deluxe 18in. pistol grip spray gun that sprays up to 25ft. vertically and 30ft. horizontally. Comes complete with 15ft.L rubber hose, 5in. fill lid with tether, molded-in drain cap, and 12V connection cables.

  1. Do the boom nozzles point horizontal behind the vehicle, or do they point toward the ground? To narrow the spray swath, would it be possible to cap any of the nozzles?

    1. The nozzles will spray to the ground on the boom. The boom would have an adjustable height. It is possible to cap some of the nozzles to adjust the spray pattern. You would need to use dedicated shut-off caps. These may be available through the manufacturer.

  2. Is this unit compatible for a wireless on and off switch?

    1. A wireless on and off switch would not be available for this sprayer.

    1. The unit would include a wiring harness that would have an on and off switch to mount in the cab.

  4. What is the power source?  Can It be quickly hooked up and unhooked?

    1. The sprayer will include a wiring harness to connect to your 12 volt battery on your UTV. The connection would be easily set up and unhooked.

  5. Does this work over-the-tailgate of a full size pick up truck?

    1. This is intended for use in a UTV, this would not fit a pick up.

  6. Can we use liquid ice melt in this?

    1. Liquid ice melt can be used with this sprayer. It would be recommended to flush out the system afterwards to protect the pump.
