  1. is this wheel suitable for a bicycle trailer? @ bicycle speeds?

    1. Yes it is. That's what I'm using it for right now. I made a cart to pull behind my bike. It has over 400 miles on it now. Rolls very easy. The tires are about wore out and I will change to a smoother tread pattern

      Helpful?

    2. This wheel would be suitable for use on a bicycle trailer towed at bicycle speeds. The manufacturer does not recommend speeds above 10-12 MPH.

      Helpful?

  2. Is this for a pair or one individual wheel?

    1 answer

    1. This listing is for one (1) pneumatic tire mounted on a steel spoked rim.

      Helpful?

  3. How heavy of a load will these wheels carry

    1 answer

    1. The load capacity is 250 pounds.

      Helpful?

  4. What is the width of the center hub on this wheel? From one side of the wheel to the other.

    1 answer

    1. This wheel/tire assembly has a 3.3" hub width.

      Helpful?

  5. Will this work for a pony cart?

    1 answer

    1. This tire is 24" in diameter and is 2.125" wide. It fits a 3/4" axle bore. You would need to check the size tire that is currently on the pony cart to determine if this tire would work.

      Helpful?

  6. What is the inside diameter of the hub if you remove the bearing ?

    1 answer

    1. It is 1-3/8". If you are wanting to replace the bearing, the OD of the bearing must be 1-3/8".

      Helpful?

  7. Do these wheels have replacement bearings available?

    1 answer

    1. The low speed replacement bearings for the Marathon Tires Pneumatic Tire On Steel Spoked Wheel is item number 13682, please see product recommendation below.

      Helpful?

  8. Can this be used on a trailer at high speed, and if not, where can I buy a narrow spoked wheel for a trailer?

    1 answer

    1. This Marathon tire is for low speed applications only. You may check with a local tire supply dealer for high speed spoke tires and wheels.
