The Malta Dynamics Standing Seam Roof Anchor Clamp is an ideal safety anchor for metal roofs. A common issue that workers face when working on metal roofs is the inability to locate a safe anchor point without leaving noticeable damage on the roof that they are working on or penetrating the panels. This standing seam metal roof anchor is compact and non-penetrating. It utilizes 8 grub screws that tighten down onto the metal roof seam. The set grub screws pinch tight on the seam to provide a reliable standing seam anchor point. At only 2.2 lbs. the Malta Dynamics standing seam safety anchor is extremely lightweight. This makes it one of the lightest certified anchors on the market to meet the 5,000 lb. standard for minimum breaking strength. With materials like aluminum alloy and stainless steel, this anchor is small but surprisingly durable. Although this anchor is tiny and low profile, it has been rigorously tested to the strict standards of OSHA 1926 subpart M, OSHA 1910, and ANSI Z359.1:2007. This standing seam safety anchor is designed for use on roofs with a maximum slope of 12/12 pitch and must be attached to fully seamed panels. To be safe and effective, the standing seam metal roof anchor must be positioned properly to apply load in the long axis of the anchor bracket. A competent person must sign off on the installation and integrity of the personal fall arrest system before use on the jobsite. This metal roof anchor features a 360 degree swivel top connection point to allow the user to enjoy complete freedom with their motions and can access all sides of the roof without having to reposition and without tangling.
