  2. How do I disassemble the plastic bushing?

    Is there a trick to separating the plastic bushing from the tire & tube?

    1. On this Low Speed Pneumatic Tire & Wheel in order to remove the plastic bushing you would place a punch through the axle hole against the back side of the bushing and tap it gently with a hammer moving from one side of the bushing to the other and back until the bushing pops out.

  4. Can the plastic bushing be removed

    The rim/tire assembly that I need replaced has a 3 1/16 x 1" od aluminum bushing in it. Could the plastic bushing be removed, giving me the bore needed to insert my bushing?
    Or do you have a tire available to fit my spec's.

    Can I install wheel bearings in this hub? Can the load capacity be increased with a better tire?

    1. Wheel bearings can not be installed in this hub and replacing the tire will not increase load capacity.
