    1. Yes, you can. It will take about 45 minutes to get it done. It will extract from any engine.

    2. You would be able to extract the oil from a boat engine. You would only be able to extract 2 gallons at a time.

  2. Can this product be used with synthetic engine oils?

    1. Yes, I have used mine to extract conventional, synthetic blend and full synthetic oils. I have also used it to extract automatic transmission fluid (ATF) from my truck.

    2. Yes, this unit is not limited to certain types of oil, it can be used with synthetic engine oils.

  3. can I use this to pump out diesel fuel? can diesel fuel be stored in this container too?

    1. Although the pump is designed to remove oil and store it, diesel fuel would be just fine with this pump and storage container though it would probably violate certain codes because of not being properly marked for diesel fuel. For instance, storage containers for diesel are always yellow while gasoline would be red.

    1. It will handle any type oil. The heavier oils may take a little longer to dispense and the farther the distance may also cause it to take a little longer, but should handle 3 feet.

    1. A smaller diameter hose for this LiquiVac oil extractor can be ordered directly through the manufacturer (Airpower America).

  8. are there markings on the container so you can tell how much oil you have extracted? Our waverunner requires us to remove 2.5 qts.

    1. The oil extractor does not have markings on it, but it is transparent enough to show how much of the 2 gallon container has been filled.
