  1. How easy is it to refill....

    Does the plunger stay sticking out when a new cartridge is put in?

    1. It is easy to install a cartridge, but sadly the plunger does stick out.

    2. No. You must pull the plunger back and lock it when you are putting in a new grease tube. Then, after you have screwed the canister back on the head you pull the plunger handle and line it up, then push it in. It won't work if you leave the plunger handle out. No pressure on the grease.

    3. This Lincoln grease gun is very easy to refill, the plunger will lock into place.

  2. what size grease tubes does this gun take?

    1. This takes both the 14 ounce and 16 ounce tubes. I usually use the 14 ounce lithium tubes sold here on NT.

    2. This Lincoln pistol grip grease gun will take 16 ounces of bulk grease or a 14-1/2 ounce cartridge.

  3. can you push the plunger all the way in with a grease tube in it

    1. Once the cartridge is loaded and the head is loosely attached, you will want to push the plunger rod all the way in with a twisting motion. This will help force the grease into the pumping mechanism. Pushing the plunger in will also help with removing trapped air.
