Explain duty cycle
1 answer-
ProductExpert13· a year ago
Duty cycle is a specification that indicates how long a welding machine can operate at a specific amperage before needing to cool down. A 30% duty cycle means the welder can run at the rated amperage for 3 minutes out of every 10 minutes. The remaining 7 minutes are used for cooling to prevent overheating and protect the machine's internal components.
