    1. No. This is wire to be used with gas.

    2. This Lincoln mig welding wire is not flux core. Northern does carry Lincoln flux core wire. See below.

  2. Can I use this on flux welder. I'm a beginner

    1. This welder wire is solid MIG wire that must be used with a shielding gas. It cannot be used on a flux-core welder; only on a wire-feed welder.

  3. Do I use knurled drive rolls with copper coated flux core? I know I do with normal flux core.

    1. A knurled drive wheel would be used for the copper coated flux wire.

    1. This wire is not suitable for gasless MIG welding. See item 164889 as a suitable option.

    1. This Lincoln Electric SuperArc L-56 MIG Welding Wire will work with the Hobart 190 welder. You will need to use the 8 inch spool adapter and retaining ring that was included with the welder.
