The full-size, hitch-mounted LiftGator with 48in. x 48in. platform can be attached to most pickup trucks, flatbeds, utility trucks or service trucks equipped with a 2in. or 2 1/2in. hitch receiver.   1. What happens when your finished loading and have to pull the pins on the stabelizer jacks

    1. This liftgate system does attach to trucks equipped with a 2" or 2.5" hitch receiver. After you have loaded the cargo into the bed of your truck, you will rotate the platform flap over the platform center, then fold the platform center to the vertical position and pin it into place on both sides. Once the lift is secured, you can remove the pins from the outriggers and retract the legs. Insert the pins again so they stay fully retracted. You may drive with this lift once it is in the proper position or you can remove it by using the instructions provided in the manual.

  2. Can this lift go higher than the bed of the truck

    I want to know if I can use it to transfer items like refrigerators, ovens etc. from dock height down into the bed of a truck. Then to the ground at its final destination.

    1. This liftgate will reach 24" above the hitch and 24" below the hitch. When raised, it will be higher than the bed of the truck for moving appliances and other objects into the bed.
