This 1500w Infrared Heater is a good choice to buy if you're looking for a portable and cost effective solution as a supplemental heat source for one room in your home or office. With two heat settings up to 1500watts and energy saving ECO mode, infrared heat element will softly heat up and distributore out into the room providing warmth. Adjustable thermostat and programmable timer allows you to set temperate and how long you want the heater to operate. Bottom front air intake vent allows you to place the heater closer to the wall so it's out of the way. Safety features include cool touch housing to help avoid burns, overheat and tip over safety shut-off.

  3. How to operate?

    1. To use the LifeSmart 1500W infrared heater, place it on a flat, open surface and plug it directly into a wall outlet. Press the Power button to turn it on, then use the Mode button to choose High, Low, or ECO heat. Set your desired temperature with the Temp Up/Down buttons, and use the Timer if you want it to turn off automatically. Keep the heater’s front and back vents clear, don’t cover it, and let it cool down after turning it off (the fan may run briefly—this is normal). You can use the remote to control all the same functions. Always keep it clean, unplug it before moving or cleaning it, and never use it with blocked vents or near anything flammable.

  7. What is the minimum thermostat setting? I want to use this for an outdoor water heater closet and want to set the thermostat as low as 40F to prevent freezing.

    1. The Lifesmart HT1198QX heater’s thermostat only goes down to about 50–59°F (ECO mode is fixed at 68°F). It cannot be set as low as 40°F, so it’s not ideal for freeze‑protection in a water heater closet.
