    1. Yes, just reverse the polarity of the connections.

  2. Is a variable speed controller available for this motor?

    I am hoping to build a 12 vdc powered, variable speed winch for use in launching RC sailplanes, and need to know if a variable speed controller for this motor is available.

    1. At this time we do not offer a variable speed switch for this Leeson 12 Volt DC Motor.

    2. You should be able to build a cheep variable speed controller by using a transformer, 2 bridge rectifiers (one for the field and one for the armature), a rheostat, and misc wiring and hardwhire.
