These tarp straps are great to use because they are durable and resistant to heat, oil, ozone, salt water, and common household chemicals. EPDM rubber tarp straps are designed for summer and withstand heat better than Natural Rubber Tarp Straps. We recommend not using EPDM rubber tarp straps during the winter because it will become brittle and not return to its' original shape easily after it has been stretched.
