  1. Can this engine be turbocharged

    1. This engine is not designed to be turbocharged. Much larger diesel engines than this one can be turbocharged but even then it can reduce the life of the engine. Any attempt to modify this engine for turbocharging would void the warranty.

  4. What is required to start this engine out of the crate

    1. Install it in what product you are needing it to run, hook up electric start to 12 volt battery, then add oil and fuel.

  5. Can this engine be fitted with a PTO ?

    Application for pump with gear reducer for 1800 rpm input, intemittent use, would need a PTO set up
