    I have only used ratchet-style torque wrenches, I don't know if there is such a thing as a non-ratchet but I wanted to make sure.

    1. It's recommended to recalibrate after 1 year or 10,000 cycles, whichever comes first. If it’s been handled roughly or dropped, it should also be recalibrated.
