    2. For the lid, there are three plastic hinges, each of which is connected with a small metal rod. The lid clasps are plastic, and the two vertical clasps that retain the drawer are also plastic.

  2. Does the top of the box come off or is it fixed?

    I see that all of the drawers will come out, but will the very top black tray come out as well?

    1. The top drawer is fixed. It does not come out.

  4. Is the storage box weather/waterproof?

    Is it weather proof enough to leave in truck bed permanently or is it more for inside storage?

    1. The case is not waterproof. The drawer fronts are designed in such a way that water/rain could get in. The top compartment under the lid would likely stay dry though. Also, if it gets really cold where you live, I'd be concerned that the plastic clasps would get brittle and snap when opened.

    2. The storage box included with this kit is not weather or waterproof. The box is weather and water-resistant. We recommend storing it inside rather than outside in a truck bed.

  5. Where is this set made?

    1. Pretty sure it's Chinese but the quality is not bad. I was actually very pleased with the fit and finish of the set. I own Snap-On and Craftsman tools as well and I think this is of decent quality for what you pay.

    1. The SAE wrenches in the kit include 1/4", 5/16", 11/32", 3/8", 7/16", 1/2", 9/16", 5/8", 11/16" and 3/4". The metric wrenches in the kit include 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18 and 19 MM.
