    I'm looking to thread some 2 1/2 pipe but don't want to spend $1000's. Will a larger die than 2" fit in the tool?

    1. This pipe threader will not thread brass pipe. It is designed only for threading steel pipes.

  4. are the die cutters replaceable and are they the same as the ridgid R12 cutters?

    1. Replacement dies are available through our parts department at 800-657-0516. The cutter is not compatible with the Rigid R12 dies.

  8. What is the gear reduction ratio?

    1. This unit will run at 2800 RPM's and reduce to 28 RPM's for threading, giving you a 100:1 ratio. In reverse with no load, it will run at 50 RPM's for a 56:1 ratio.

  10. Can just the handle be purchased without having to buy the whole motor (item 41)?

    THe company had the Klutch Heavy-Duty Portable Electric Pipe Threader priop to my coming to work for them. The handle is broken at the motor. The motor is good but need just he handle. Any way to purchase this part?

    1. The handle for this electric pipe threader is not available without the motor. The handle/motor assembly is available through Northern's Parts department. Please call 1-800-222-5381 for price and availability. The Parts department is open 7am-6pm, Central time Monday-Friday and 8am-2pm on Saturdays.
