  1. Can it be used as a vertical band saw?

    1. Once mounted on the stand, the saw will only go to approximately 45 degrees from vertical. No way to go full vertical the way it's designed.

  2. What’s the thickness capacity for cutting SOLID stainless steel?

    1. The capacity for cutting solid stainless steel is 5” x 5” at 0°.

  3. Is there a way to adjust the blade tracking? I've only used my saw a half dozen times and now every time I use it the blade will come off during the cut.I've tried replacing the blade but it keeps doing it. It won't even cut 1/2" brass without resetting.

    1. To adjust the blade, please try removing the oil stain from the blade by wiping it down with a cloth. Also remove the oil stain from the saw blade plates by carefully holding a cloth on the underside and turning the machine on (with the blade still removed).

    1. This band saw has not been tested with flex whip seal tight conduit. It is designed to cut aluminum, hardwood, copper, solid steel and PVC plastic.

    1. For safety reasons, this bandsaw is not equipped with a trigger lock. It will have to be held down while in use.

    1. The handheld cutting capacity at 0° is 5" x 5". With the stand, the cutting capacity at 0° is 4" x 2-3/4". The handheld cutting capacity at 45° is 5" x 1-9/16". With the stand, the cutting capacity at 45° is 1-1/8" x 1-9/16".

  9. How do we square the blade up if it’s not cutting square ?

    1. If the workpiece is long, the workpiece may tilt because of the center of gravity causing the blade not to cut square. We recommend adding a support below a long workpiece to prevent this from happening.
