  1. Does this saw lower itself for cutting or do you push it manually ?

    1. Although this saw was designed to be manual feed, a simple weight can be suspended from the adjustment knob to bring the blade down. not a hard thing to set up and determine how much weight to add. Unlike those machines with autofeed, it will not have an auto-shutoff, though.

  4. Can the pivot arm, that allows the saw to rotate up and down, be removed from the steel base so that the saw can be mounted on a different base?

    1. It is not recommended to mount this saw to a different base. Making modifications would also void the warranty.

  5. What is the material cutting capacity witdth at 45 degrees? What is the material cutting capacity witdth at 60 degrees?

    1. When set to 45 degrees, the cutting capacity is 3.15". When set to 60 degrees, the cutting capacity is 2.01".

  7. Does this stop hav positive stops for the angled cuts? I’m looking for something to make pie cuts on tube at 4.5 and 9 degrees.

    1. The band saw will have a lever stop that you can adjust the cut from 0-60 degrees.

    1. This should only be used in 110-120 Volt applications. It should not be rewired for a different voltage.
