  1. Are this a spring loaded set of do you hit it with a hammer like most others. Still doesn’t mater since I plan to use them in plastic mostly, but would be nice to know. Thanks in advance.

    1. These stamps could be heated to burn into pine wood. Make sure the heat is controlled and the stamp is heated evenly.

  3. What kind of metal can this toll be used on? Is this tool made in the U.S. or just shipped from the U.S.?

    1. This is designed for soft metals without heat treatment and a hardness rating less than 20, such as aluminum, tin, copper, brass, nickel, and silver. This set is manufactured to our specifications in Taiwan.

    Are they stainless steel rated and what size are they?

    1. The metal stamp of the 1” shank is made of carbon steel and experienced heat-treatment. The unit can be used with stainless steel. The end of the pointed letters would measure 12 mm (0.47”).
