  3. What is the max outside diameter (i.e., lower ring part closes to chuck below) of spindle sleeve (quill) where a mortiser attachment would clamp?

    1. The large end diameter is 23.825 mm. The small end diameter is 19.76 mm. The effective taper length is 81 mm. It has a standard MT3 taper.
