    1. This uses an O-500 belt which is 500mm long x 10mm wide x 6mm thick. It also uses an O-565 belt which is 565mm long x 10mm wide x 6mm thick.

  2. is there a quill/spindle lock on this drill press? i.e. can i lower the bit and lock in place?

    1. With the power OFF, lower the chuck until the drill bit touches the workpiece. Set the adjuster nut by spinning it down until the gap between the nut and the bracket matches the desired drilling depth. Tighten the lock nut securely against the adjuster nut.

    1. The belt does need to be adjusted to change the speed. Please see the instructions beginning on page 18 of the Product Manual which is located below the Product Summary on the web page.

    1. The radial runout of the cylindrical mandrel installed in the chuck is allowed to be ≤0.3mm when the bench drill is tested with a cylindrical mandrel extending at a distance of 100mm. This unit was tested at 0.006 mm.
