  1. is the air hose detachable?

    can the air hose be easily be replaced?? How is it attached ?

    1. Yes the air hose has a quick disconnect

    2. It has a QD to connect to the compressor. The end has a threaded Schrader valve that screws on the valve stem. I plan on getting a 25' 1/4" hose and tire chuck and not use the coily plastic hose. Although the supplied coily hose is convenient but it takes a little time and dexterity to screw the chuck onto the tire.

  3. What is the duty cycle of this compressor?

    1. As stated in the literature, duty cycle is 20 minutes on, 30 minutes off. If you are topping off a tire, you'll likely only be running the compressor for less than 5 minutes.

  5. What type of QD male-end does this use? Can I attach my own hose or do I have to use the one included?

    1. This tire inflator will have a Japanese style male quick connect plug. It is not recommended to replace the hose. Doing so could void the warranty.

  10. Does it function OK if lying/mounted sideways?

    I want to mount it permanently to a wooden board (as opposed to being portable). The most ideal position would be to mount it sideways rather than straight up. Will doing so affect the efficiency or durability of the compressor?

    1. This can be mounted sideways or upright. This will not affect the performance or durability of the compressor.
