Can I put this heater in a granite shop
1 answer-
ProductExpert7· 4 years ago
This would be fine as long as clearances are met. This should be mounted 6 feet above the ground, 17" from the ceiling and 8" from the wall.

Looks like I'll need a 70 amp breaker as a 60 amp wouldn't be 125% above this heaters maximum draw. Does this sound correct. Hate to oversize it that much.
1 answer-
ProductExpert6· 5 years ago
The heater would use 6 gauge wire. It would use 2 wire cable with ground and requires a 60 amp breaker.

What is the average cost to run this unit
1 answer-
ProductExpert11· 5 years ago
To calculate the average cost you will use the following equation: watts x hours/day x days/month x rate/KW divided by 1000. Example with a rate of 12.5 cents per KW-hr the calculation will be 12,000 watts x 4 hours/day x 30 days/month x .125/KW divided by 1000 = $180 a month.

how can it be mounted? brackets included?
also wondering about the "remote control": does that mean an internal thermostat and remote sets temp and on-off?
1 answer-
ProductExpert26· 9 years ago
The heater is packaged with a mount that is applicable for both ceiling and wall mounting.
The heater does have an internal thermostat. This can be adjusted, using either the remote control or the display unit on the heater, to a specified temperature range of 45 degrees - 99 degrees Fahrenheit. The remote control also allows you to switch between the different operations modes for the heater.
