Product Summary

The Kidde FX340GW Multi-Purpose Single-Use Dry Chemical Fire Extinguisher helps you create a safe pathway in the event of an emergency. For small, contained fires, this single-use extinguisher is made to hang on a wall in a garage or workshop and to be used on fires common to those areas such as paint, wood, gasoline and energized electrical equipment. This unit is UL rated 3-A, 40-B:C. The clear instruction label utilizes graphics to show steps required to operate extinguisher. To use, pull the safety pin, aim at the base of the fire, squeeze the lever and sweep from side to side. The cylinder is powder-coated for corrosion protection and features an impact-resistant metal valve, handle and lever. Designed for a 12ft.-18ft. discharge range and a 13-15 second discharge time, this extinguisher features a pressure gauge to tell you when the fire extinguisher is charged and ready for use. This unit weighs 8.25 lbs. and contains 5.5 lbs. of multipurpose dry chemical extinguishing agent.
