  2. Does Northern tools sell replacement batteries for this unit and what do they cost?

    1. Not sure, but why not buy a second one like I just did? probably cheaper than 2 replacements and you'd have another charger and a back-up drill to cut down bit changes on a project. Its an inexpensive, reliable drill - at an amazing priice.

    1. The Kawasaki Cordless Drill Kit does not offer a charger for 230 VAC.
      The drill has a range of 24 torque rating settings.
      The drill has 2 batteries included with the kit.

  5. How long does it take to charge a battery?

    When a battery is fully discharged, how long does it take to recharge? Will the charger shut off when the charge is complete?

    1. Initially the battery pack requires 8-10 hours charge time to be fully charged. Subsequent recharging needs 3-5 hours for the battery to be fully charged. The charger will not automatically turn “OFF” when the battery pack is fully charged.
