    1. The flame arrester part number is Justrite model# 11007. The flame arrester can be pulled out, sometimes with the use of needle nose pliers, and replaced.

  2. How long in inches is this Stainless Steel Flame Arrester for Type I, Type II AccuFlow, D.O.T. Safety Cans - 11007? I'm curious to know if it is so short that it precludes from placing a gas filling nozzle into the can while filling at the gas station.

    1. Hello, the flame arrester is about 3.5" long. You can easily get a nozzle into the can to fill.
