Hello, the NFPA30 does not have "ratings". Instead, NFPA 30 specifies the performance and construction criteria that cabinets must meet to be considered compliant. Justrite does offer cabinets that can help you to be compliant with the NFPA30 standards. Justrite Poly Cabinets are made for secondary containment. Chemicals should be stored in the proper containers inside the cabinet to prevent fumes.

Some states have adopted the IFC Standards which could require the NFPA 1 (Uniform Fire Code) 66.9. 4.3(2). The NFPA code does require self closing doors on fire cabinets. To determine if you are required to have self-closing doors on your safety cabinet we recommended that you check with your local/state Fire Marshal.
