Compac Safety Cabinets fit almost anywhere and provide protection even where space is at a premium. Only 591 mm wide, they hold a full 12- or 15-gallons (45- or 57-L) of flammables.     1. Using the cabinet dimensions and the 2-inch sump depth, the sump volume calculates to approximately:

      Width: 23.25 in
      Depth: 18 in
      Sump depth: 2 in

      Volume = 23.25 × 18 × 2 = 837 in³

      837 in³ ÷ 231 in³/gal = ~3.6 gallons
