    1. The JET BDB-929 lathe includes a 4-jaw chuck that opens to 4 inches. This chuck attaches to the spindle with a 1 1/2″-8 TPI thread through a 3/4″ bore. You can also use any standard 1 1/2″-8 TPI 3- or 4-jaw chuck if you need a different size.

  3. Why do the Specs say three phase? Please confirm that it's single phase. The answer to "spindle mount" should not be yes or no, but rather the diameter and threads of the spindle. Does the lathe come with a 4-jaw chuck?

    1. The lathe is single phase and 115 volt. It would have a spindle of 1 1/2 inches x 8 TPI (threads per inch). It would come with a 4-jaw chuck.
