  1. Will this work for concrete dust?

    1. The dust collector is not recommended for use with concrete dust. It is designed for use with wood. Use for anything other than what it is designed for would void the warranty.

  2. I was wondering what the CFM is in the vortex 1100? Also can I just order a cone for my older 1100 for the vortex effect rather than upgrading the unit?

    1. The maximum CFM for this dust collector is 668. You would contact the manufacturer for parts or upgrades.

  3. Since this is listed as either 115v or 230v I am wondering if it will be less powerful if ran on a standard 115 outlet?

    1. This JET dust collect can run on 115V or 230V; however, the higher voltage is more efficient and will draw fewer amps. Because of this, the motor is not working as hard on start-up.
