This JET Dual Miter Horizontal Band Saw miters both left and right for quick angle cuts. Heavy-duty construction reduces vibration and deflection. The built-in, self-propelled blade brush prevents chip buildup in blade guides. The blade tension gauge helps ensure the blade is in the correct cutting position. The magnetic starter is designed for low voltage and lost phase protection. The automatic blade breakage sensor detects accidental breakage and interrupts the power. The power switch with safety key prevents accidental startup. CSA/CUS certified. Item too large for lift gate. Forklift required for on site unloading.

  1. what is the smallest material you can cut on this saw? looks like the vise will not close enough to cut small material.

    1 answer

    1. It would depend on what material you are cutting. The minimum would be 6" x 5" at a 60 degree angle for a flat rectangle material.
      Round tubing it will cut 10" at a 90 degree angle, 6" at a 60 degree angle and 10" at a 45 degree angle.
      Square material it will cut 10" at a 90 degree angle, 5 1/2" at a 60 degree angle and 10" at a 45 degree angle.
      Rectangle material 10" x 17" at a 90 degree angle, 6" x 5" at a 60 degree angle and 10" x 12" at a 45 degree angle.
      Solid material would be the same as rectangle.

    1. The MBS-1018-3 can cut 10" round at 90 degrees, and 10"X17" rectangular at 90 degrees. It can cut 10" round at 45 degrees, and 10"X12" rectangular at 45 degrees.
