  1. Please explain 16-32 Plus

    does this mean a piece up to 16" wide can be sanded in one pass and a piece up to 32" can be sanded in to passes. example: a cabinet door 24 " wide would be run once and turned around and run again for the remaining 8"?

    I have no experience with sanding in two passes. Does this result in a consistant surface?

    1. yes you are right But, I would not sand a cabinet door .You will want to sand with the grain or you will have a lot of hand sanding later to get out the cross grain scratches.

    2. Yes you can sand a panel up to 32" wide by sanding one side at a time. I recently purchased this and used our to sand glued up panels about 26" wide. It works very well, and did not leave a Mark where the two passes meet in the middle. If you are going to be working with large panels, you'll need to support them well to produce a consistent finish. I was able to get decent results using roller stands. There are also extended infeed and outfeed tables available that might be handy.

    3. This sander will sand a 16" piece in one pass. A 32" piece will need 2 passes. It has a constant smooth action.
