  1. Does it come with a wire brush wheel?

    1. No. It's comes with a 36 and 60 grit grinding wheels, but can take one off and put a wire on it.

    2. no it does not, but you can purchase one at any local hardware

    3. It does not come with one, but any standard size brush wheel will fit it. Just make sure you get one with the correct arbor size. (I think this is a 5/8" arbor).

    4. This bench grinder does not come with a wire brush. It only comes with two grinding wheels, one fine and one coarse.

  2. Can I get a wire brush for this grinder

    1. Wire brush, yea you can.

    2. Yes. You can use pretty much any wire brush in this size from either NT or the Big Box Stores. I actually have two of these, one with the original grinding wheels and one with a wire brush and a polishing wheel.

    3. This JET Bench Grinder would use an 8" wire brush with a 5/8 arbor. Northern Tool does not offer a wire brush that will fit the product at this time.

    1. The wheel size is 8" D x 1" W x 5/8" bore.

  4. How long to come up to speed?

    How many seconds to get up to speed? Fast grinders are ready in about a second. Annoying ones take several seconds. It sounds picky here in print but in actual use it makes a difference.

    1. The unit does not have a rating on how fast it will get to max speed. The unit will take approximately 15-20 seconds to reach the max RPM.
