  3. Does this work with older models? I have a old blue DC-650.

    1. The canister filter kit would not be compatible with the older Old Blue model DC-650 dust collector. You would contact the manufacturer for a replacement.

  4. will this fit onto my DC-650 model that currently has a cloth filter bag on top? Does the filter include the metal plat for the top of the filter, and the flapper to knock dust off the inside of the filter?

    1. This filter kit is specifically designed for use with the JET DC-650 dust collector. It does have a metal plate on top of the filter with a handle. This also has rubber paddles to knock dust off the sides of the filter. To turn the paddles, turn the handle on top of the filter.

    1. The canister is 25" in height. The outside diameter is 14".

  6. DOES THE MODEL # 70837C INCLUDE AN INTERNAL 'PADDLE' TYPE SYSTEM TO DISLODGE DUST?

    1. Turn the handle on the top of the filter to turn the rubber paddles and knock the dust off the sides of the filter.
