    I want to place this in a concrete block wall. How thick is the product? I want to make sure it stays within the wall itself and does not stick out very far.

  3. can this fan be installed in a metal building?

    If so what else is needed to install/

    1. This unit can be installed in a metal building provided there is sufficient structural support for the box frame on all sides in the rough in. Using support anchors and steel bracing with vibration absorbing materials will also be needed.

  4. How loud is it? DB rating or sones? What does it require to install in R Panel wall? Is there a kit?

    1. This J & D wallmaster exhaust fan has not been tested for a decibels or sones. An installation is not available. You will want to make sure you reinforce your rough opening with enough support on the bottom and sides to support the weight of the fan. You will also need to use anchors.
