Product Summary

The JD Indoor/Outdoor ceiling fan provides a healthier, cooler environment for your plants, animals, and humans all year long. In the summer the fan creates a mild wind chill to gently cool. It vertically mixes warm stagnant air and disperses hot pockets which can be a breeding ground for germs and bacteria. In the winter the fan prevents warm air from collecting in the rooftop and peaks to reduce condensation that drips down on animals, plants, and bedding surfaces. Throughout the year, the JD Premium Indoor/Outdoor Ceiling Fan dries litter, bedding, walls and floors. It continuously mixes air to save you money on heating and cooling bills. Continuous circulation dissipates ammonia, gasses, and odors to keep the air not only cooler, but fresher too.

  1. how do you wire speed control switch to this fan

    1. The fan will work with variable control switch item number 517542 (model CN5). This will be able to operate up to 5 fans 120 volt 10 amps. It is recommended to be installed by a qualified electrician in accordance with national electrical code and local codes. Connect control in series with motor and line voltage. Never connect control across line. Be sure to ground control using the green wire. (some models do not require grounding. Ground wire would not be provided).

    1. J&D does not offer shorter downrods for the CF60A model, only the included 10″ factory-installed variant is provided.
