Model 8277 will work on with leaking PVC pipe. The pipe must be dry when applied and during the first 8 hours to cure.

After curing, it can be drilled, tapped, filed, sanded and painted. WaterWeld™ has a set time of 15-25 minutes and sets hard in one hour. WaterWeld™ cures to an off-white color, is rated at a strength of 4370 PSI and will withstand temperatures up to 250ºF.

Set up will occurs even under water. After curing, it can be drilled, tapped, filed, sanded or painted. It will have a rated strength of 4370 PSI and will with stand temperatures up to 250 degrees F.

Will this work on corrosion areas on galvanized pipes

The epoxy putty could be used on the corrosion area on galvanized pipes. You would need to clean as much of the corrosion off as you can and then roughen up the pipe and apply an acetone or lacquer to the pipe before applying the epoxy putty.

The putty will work on aluminum. It will only hold up to 900 PSI. It would not work on a pressure washer pump.
