    1. We appreciate your question. To cut external threads, use the dies with round stock (rod) that matches the specified diameter indicated in the tap and die chart. This set is designed to cut threads in SAE sizes, including thread and pitch sizes of 6-32 NC, 8-32 NC, 10-32 NF, 10-24 NC, and 1/4"-20 NC.
