    1. The mounting brackets are not flat, so they would not mount properly on a flat bed.

  2. Do I have to drill holes in my truck for installation?

    1. Holes will need to be drilled into the truck for installation.

  3. Can these be installed in the stake pockets? 

    1 answer

    1. The front upright support bracket will be bolted to the front bulkhead with one bolt on each side of the upright section and one bolt in the side stake pocket of the truck bed. The rear upright support bracket will be bolted to the vertical inside or forward face of the inner bed wall around the rear stake pocket. Complete installation instructions are found in the product manual beginning on page 7.

  4. If the upper arms are removed are all other parts below the cab? I want to make certain I am able to go through a car wash.

    1. It would be recommended to remove the upper arms prior to a car wash. The truck rack may be damaged in a car wash.

    1. Hardware is supplied with this unit. The list of hardware can be referenced on page 11 of the product manual. The manual can be located under the What's included portion of the item's web page in the red underlined PDF form.

  6. Are the top parts of this ladder rack removable when you dont need them or do you have to unbolt the whole thing?

    1. The upper arms and brackets of this ladder rack can be removed without unbolting the front and rear upright support brackets from the vehicle.

  7. What is the size of the square tube?

    1. There are multiple size squared tubing sections associated with item. The sizes are as follows: The 2 horizontal cross arms measure 1-1/2" squared. The smaller squared tubing on the 2 adjustable arms measures 1-1/4" and the larger squared tubing of arms measures 1-1/2". The 2 upright supports measure 1-13/16" squared. The 2 uprights measure 1-1/2" squared. The single rear upright support bracket measures 2" squared and the single front upright support bracket also measures 2" squared.

    1. This utility truck rack is intended to be mounted on a truck, however if it is mounted properly it can be used on a utility trailer.

  9. What is the height, in inches, of the mount that is bolted to the truck? (From the bottom of the mounting flange to the top of the square tube)

    bolted to the truck? ( from the bottom of the mounting flange to the top of the receiver tube) I want to know if it will fit under my tonneau cover when the upper rack is not attached.

    1. From the mounting flange to the top of the rack is one piece that is 52-13/64" tall. There is a telescoping support arms that adjust from 19in. to 32in. and 0° to 20° tilt. This is not designed to be able to fit under a Tonneau cover.
