  3. will this damage a small truck tire

    Can't you throw your tire out of balance putting 250 lbs on two pieces of steel on the top of a tire on a small truck, those were made for 18 wheelers

    1. No. It only handles 300lb, the rims+tire see way more than that kind of load. Imagine how much weight a rim/tire must deal with if you drive down road in a 2500+ pound vehicle and 30+mph and go around a tight curve.

    2. I would say no to your question. This step just fits around your tire and it doesn't distort it in anyway shape or form.

    3. I believe this step can be used on any truck tire. You have two points of contact to support weight on the top of the tread and the other two points of contact are on the side wall for stability. I really can't believe that could cause any issue assuming your sidewall is not cracked or damaged.

    4. You will not change the tire to rim weight or balance. If the tire spins somehow and the rim does not would be the only way. I do not see this happening
