Do the wheels have zerk fittings?
Just wondering if one can throw some grease into the axles or are they without bearings?
Thanks

This Ironton trailer dolly does not have zerk fittings. This open ended axle tube could be greased during assembly or when doing routine maintenance.

Has anyone tried pushing or pulling a 14' double axel (landscape) trailer with this? How will it do on a double axel trailer is my real concern. Thanks
1 answer-
IrontonExpert6· 4 years ago
The trailer dolly can be used on a double axle trailer, as long as it would not exceed the rated tongue weight of 600 pounds.

Does this dolly only allow you to pull a trailer or can you also push a trailer as well. I would want to push my boat trailer into the garage so its ready to hook up and pull it back out.
1 answer-
IrontonExpert7· 5 years ago
This can be used to pull or push.

Is it acceptable to use the 1-7/8" ball on a 2-5/16" ball receiver?
I have trailers that have 2" and 2-5/16" ball receivers. Can this trolley be used to move these trailers around with the 1-7/8" ball that is included?
1 answer-
IrontonExpert29· 3 years ago
The ball would need to be changed out on the trailer dolly to a 2" or a 2-5/16" ball to safely move the trailers. This trailer dolly requires a 3/4" diameter hitch ball shank. Please see our item #32718 for a 2" hitch ball with a 3/4" shank. A 2-5/16" ball with a 3/4" shank is not available.

Can you change the ball size from 1-7/8" to 2-5/16"?
In order to make the ball size change, the hole for the ball shank needs to be 1-1/4" in diameter. What is the diameter of the hole the ball shank fits into?
1 answer-
IrontonExpert6· 6 years ago
The trailer dolly would require a 3/4" diameter ball shank to fit.
