  1. Will Model# 108981 function within a round sump with a diameter of 12"?

    1. I have mine in a five gallon bucket with holes so it does not suck up a lot of dirt. The float worked well inside the bucket, was able to move move freely.

    3. The actual dimensions for the pump is 5-5/8"W at the base, 10-1/2"H including cord plug, total diameter is 6-1/4", diameter of float is 2-1/2". This pump would work in a 12" round sump The float switch performance will vary depending on tank type and size

    1. This pump can be used to pump out a pool. The pump will stop when the water reaches roughly 6 to 7 inches high. If a lower water level is wanted, please see our pump #42358 that does not have a float switch and can pump water down to within 1/8" of the bottom.

  7. hello, the instruction manual says to use a pump filter or pump bag, if debri is in water. Where do I find a pump filter or pump bag for this pump?

    1. There is not. This starts when water reaches 18-19 inches and stops when water is lower than 6-7 inches.

    1. The pump is designed to remove water from a pool cover, flooded cellar or boat bilges. It would not be recommended to be used for a sprinkler application.
