They are 44 inches at the highest point. So if you figure one rick (2' X 4' X 8') or 1/3rd of a cord, you have to overfill by 4 inches. Which is what I have done.

The width is based on how long your 2x4 is course. However if your are asking about the depth of the bracket, it is approx. 13" to 14 " deep. So you firewood needs to be cut in 15" lengths or greater.

This firewood rack does not require the 2 x 4's to be attached to the metal frame. There are no mounting bolt holes to attach them.

The length of the cover will depend on the length of the 2 x 4 boards used to build this rack. Our item #618526 will fit up to 8' long log racks, and item #618525 will fit 4' long log racks.
