    1. It is not recommended to be used for a fire pit. Galvanized steel is coated with zinc to prevent rust. When heated under high temperatures the coating will vaporize and emit toxic fumes.

    1. This planter is made up of four panels that screw together.

  4. I am quite familiar with the galvanization process. While these panels have a color similar to galvanized, they clearly have a topcoat that makes the surface much smoother than normal. Please identify all coatings that are applied to this product.
