    1. This solar panel must be connected directly to a 12 volt battery. It cannot be connected to a fan without a battery.

  3. Will a MC4 cabel work with this product?

    1. This panel does not come prewired with a MC4 fitting. It will come wired with a Quick connect fitting. Any modification could void the manufacturers warranty.

  5. the plug looks the same as what is on the side of my Travel Trailer, can I plug it directly into the Trailer without needing to purchase anything else

    1. This solar panel must be connected directly to a 12 volt battery. If the plug on your travel trailer leads directly to a 12 volt battery (and is a compatible plug type), it should work. A charge controller (to protect your 12 volt battery) is highly recommended for use with any solar panel that produces more than 15 watts.     1. This solar panel is designed to be used with a 12 volt energy storage battery. Solar panels can be used to charge a single battery or a bank of batteries. The size and amount of batteries will depend on the amount of energy required. Shown below is the item 349907 that is an example of one of the many storage batteries Northern Tool offers. Any solar panel system that produces over 15 watts should have a charge controller to protect the battery like item 49684 shown below.
