  1. How much heat can these protect hands from? Looking for gloves to handle a hot Solo Stove smokeless fire pit.

    1. These welding gloves made of cowhide can withstand a temperature up to 430 degrees F; however, they are not designed to be used for long time holding in a fire pit or with other high temperature objects. A glove like item 507801 would be a better option.

  2. I got a shock through the filler rod and these gloves while TIG welding.  Should these gloves protect from that?  Any explanation?

    1. These TIG welding gloves are leather and not voltage rated so they do not guarantee protection from electrical shock.
