    1. This pump can discharge fuel 4 to 5 feet above ground level. The maximum head is 6 feet.

    1. This pump does not come with a sediment screen or filter. Due to its small port size, adding a filter would significantly reduce the flow rate.

  4. Is it possible to attach a hose or tubing to the inlet to use it to siphon gas out of vehicle gas tank, and into a gas can?

    1. This pump is not suitable for siphoning fuel from vehicles because it is not self-priming. To operate properly, the inlet needs to be submerged directly in the fuel source, like a container or drum, rather than pulling fuel through a hose from a tank.

  5. Can I shorten the discharge hose? My application (water) can't have any auto shutoff feature

    1. The discharge hose cannot be shortened. It contains internal wiring, and cutting it would render the unit inoperable.
