  1. I see that the switch is a spring rocker which typically assumes an on/off switch. Does this mean it does not have a powered reverse? I want to winch something heavy into my celler at a controlled rate, not by using the brake.

    1. This winch is designed with power-in only. It does not have a power-out function so the user would need to use the brake to control the load.

    1. Any modifications to the electric components should be carried out by a licensed electrician. Keep in mind that modifications to the winch could cause damage and would void the warranty.
